The bearing with dust cover can work effectively for a long time after grease injection, and there is no need to add grease during use. Bearings with dust cover are mostly used at both ends of rotors of small and medium-sized generators and motors, automobiles, tractors, air conditioners, fans, etc., as well as occasions with special requirements for bearing noise and vibration.
Standard deep groove ball bearings with sealing rings include contact sealed bearings RS (one side sealing), 2RS (two sides sealing) and non-contact sealed bearings RZ (one side sealing) and 2RZ (two sides sealing). The performance, greasing and application of the bearing with sealing ring are basically the same as those of the bearing with dust cover. The difference is that there is a large gap between the dust cover and the inner ring of the bearing with dust cover, but the gap between the sealing lip and the inner ring of the non-contact seal ring bearing is very small. There is no gap between the sealing lip and the inner ring of the contact seal ring bearing, which has a good sealing effect, but the friction increases.
For occasions with low noise requirements, 60 and 62 series deep groove ball bearings with smaller sizes are often used. Whether open bearing, bearing with dust cover or bearing with sealing ring, the requirements of low noise and low vibration can be put forward when ordering. The allowable vibration values of low, medium and high frequency bands of vibration levels V1, V2 and V3 are specified in JB (machinery industry standard) of China. The standard deep groove ball bearing with stop groove has a rear code of N, and the rear code of the bearing with stop groove and stop ring is Nr. in addition, there are structural variants such as Zn and ZNR. In addition to the function that the deep groove ball bearing can bear the radial load, the stop ring can limit the axial displacement of the bearing, simplify the axial structure of the bearing seat and reduce the axial size.
