  • Bearing manufacturing will go through multiple processes of forging, heat treatment, turning, grinding and assembly. The rationality, advanced nature and stability of the treatment will also affect the service life of the bearing. 
  • Affecting the heat treatment and grinding process of IKO bearing is often more directly related to the fault of bearing and related product quality. In recent years, the deterioration of bearing surface layer shows that the grinding process is closely related to the bearing surface quality.

  • The bearing temperature can generally be inferred from the external temperature of the bearing seat. However, it is more accurate to directly measure the temperature of the outer ring of the spherical plain bearing by using the oil hole. The bearing temperature rises gradually from the beginning of operation, and the temperature is usually stable after 1 ~ 2 hours.
  •  If the bearing is not installed properly, the temperature will rise sharply, resulting in abnormal high temperature.   • Selection and control of shaft and bearing housing tolerance: the bearing shall rotate flexibly without blocking feeling after being pressed into the plain bearing. If there is obvious inflexible rotation, it indicates that the size of the shaft is too large and the tolerance should be reduced.
  •  If the IKO bearing rotates by hand after being pressed into the shaft, there is an obvious “rusty” feeling, it may be that the tolerance of the shaft is too large or the roundness of the shaft is not good. Therefore, when controlling the tolerance of shaft and bearing chamber, it is also necessary to control the roundness.
