Maintenance And Installation Process Of Intermediate Bearing

Intermediate Bearing

1.1 check whether the model and specification meet the requirements of the drawing, including the size of anchor bolt hole and the size and position of locating pin hole

1.2 check the appearance of the intermediate bearing for defects, such as bumps, especially the easily damaged parts such as cover plate, oil level gauge, grid, pressure thermometer, temperature sensor, nameplate and oil slinger.

1.3 inspection of accessories; If there are bolt holes and joints but no parts are installed, they must be checked and implemented

1.4 check the machined surface at the bottom of the machine body for defects

1.5 disassemble the sealing plate at the front and rear ends of the bearing and check whether the upper and lower bearing shells are rusted and damaged

2. Protective measures during hoisting and transportation of intermediate bearing

2.1 install wood plates on the front and rear end faces of the intermediate bearing for sealing protection to prevent external dust, water vapor and other impurities from entering the interior of the intermediate bearing, and then tie it firmly with three prevention cloth on its surface

2.2 it is strictly prohibited to collide with important parts and the action points of forces such as hanging, pulling and supporting

2.3 the bonding surface at the bottom of the intermediate bearing body must be protected with wood blocks to prevent hard objects from being damaged

3. Inner field treatment of intermediate bearing

3.1 the vulnerable parts shall be disassembled for storage, and the opening left by the disassembled parts shall be sealed to prevent the entry of oil, water, dust and other sundries

3.2 open the bearing cover, take out the lower bearing bush, check whether the upper and lower bearing bushes are damaged and rusted, and thoroughly clean the inner cavity of the bearing seat and take anti rust treatment

3.3 the accessories not removed shall be well protected, and attention shall be paid to waterproof, fire prevention and collision damage

3.4 check whether there are welding slag and other sundries in the drain passage in the bearing seat and clean it

3.5 brush and grind the bottom of the machine body and do a good job of anti rust treatment

3.6 apply lubricating oil on the machined surface at the back of the bearing seat bush, apply lubricating oil on the clean lower bearing bush, and then put it into the bearing seat smoothly

3.7 when making dummy shaft, check the contact surface of lower bearing bush by reverse color, check whether the left and right clearance is uniform by feeler gauge, and check whether the total clearance is within the process requirements by pressing lead wire

3.8 install the bearing cover and tighten the bolts. The front and rear end faces of the bearing must be protected with wood plates, and then wrap the surface firmly with three proof cloth

4 intermediate bearing entering the cabin

4.1 before the intermediate bearing enters the cabin, check whether the bearing protection measures are appropriate

4.2 after entering the cabin, the intermediate bearing shall be placed on the corrugated steel plate stably, and nylon belt seat can be hung for emergency protection if necessary

The installation of angular contact ball bearings

is more complex than that of deep groove ball bearings. They are mostly installed in pairs, and preloading is required. Good installation can greatly improve the working accuracy and bearing life of the host; Otherwise, not only the accuracy can not meet the requirements, but also the service life will be affected. Installation form

The installation forms of angular contact ball bearings include back-to-back, face-to-face and series arrangement. When installing back-to-back (the wide end faces of the two bearings are opposite), the contact angle line of the bearing diffuses along the rotation axis, which can increase its radial and axial support angle rigidity and deformation resistance; face to face (the narrow end faces of the two bearings are opposite)

during installation, the contact angle line of the bearing converges towards the rotation axis, and the ground bearing angle rigidity is small. Because the inner ring of the bearing extends out of the outer ring, when the outer rings of the two bearings are pressed together, the original clearance of the outer ring is eliminated, which can increase the preload of the bearing; arranged in series (the wide end faces of the two bearings are in the same direction)

during installation, the contact angle lines of the bearings are in the same direction and parallel, so that the two bearings can share the working load in the same direction. However, when using this installation form, in order to ensure the axial stability of installation, two pairs of bearings arranged in series must be installed opposite at both ends of the shaft.
