Technical Standard 

Bearings have been widely used in many industries, such as aviation engineering, metal cutting machine tools, steel processing equipment, converters, casting equipment, rolling mills, mechanical transmission equipment, papermaking machinery, cement machinery, etc. the scope of application is very broad, so the requirements for bearings are also very high.

Bearings are the joints and basic Technical Standard components of mechanical products, Now let’s talk about the application and maintenance methods of bearings.

Bearing has simple structure and complex interior. Its R & D not only needs to consider materials, Technical Standard manufacturing process and application conditions, but also involves large-scale calculation and analysis.

At present, the bearing industry mostly uses the traditional 2dcad design method, calculation based on Excel and structural design and Technical Standard analysis of pure 3D tools, and uses a simple bearing design system for research and development.

Therefore, there are many problems in the domestic bearing industry, such as low R & D and innovation ability, product reliability and service life can not meet the current technical Technical Standard requirements, and low production capacity, Enterprise production cannot achieve scale effect.

The processing process of bearing ring, the processing of bearing inner Technical Standard ring and outer ring varies according to the form of raw materials or blanks. The processes before turning can be divided into the following three types, The whole processing process is as follows:

bar or pipe material (some bars need to be forged, annealed and Technical Standard normalized) – turning processing – heat treatment – grinding processing – fine grinding or polishing – final inspection of parts – rust prevention – warehousing – (to be assembled and matched)

There are two common methods to maintain bearings: direct heating of bearings with acetylene and oxygen and oil immersion heating of small Technical Standard bearings. When thermal expansion is reached, expand the inner diameter of the bearing for assembly.

This method has been widely used in long-term equipment maintenance, and basically meets and solves the problem of bearing assembly in Technical Standard equipment maintenance.

Technical Standard For Bearing Quality Inspection

1. For radial thick wall tile

① Measure the interference between bearing clearance and bearing shell with lead pressing method, shaft Technical Standard lifting method or other methods. The shaft clearance meets the requirements, and the interference of bearing shell shall be 0 ~ 0.02mm.

② Check all parts to ensure they are free of damage and cracks, and the bearing bush shall be free of peeling, air holes, cracks, grooves and partial wear burns.

③ The contact condition between bearing bush and journal shall be checked by coloring method, and the inspection angle shall not be 60 ° ~ 90 ° (the lower limit shall be taken if the speed is higher than 1000r / min,

and the upper limit shall be taken if the speed is lower than 1000r / min). The contact shall be uniform within the contact range, and there shall be 2 ~ 4 contact points per square centimeter. If the contact is poor, scraping and grinding must be carried out.

④ Clean the bearing box and ensure that all oil holes are unblocked without cracks and leakage.

⑤ The pad back and bearing seat shall be closely and evenly fitted, checked by coloring method, and the contact area shall not be less than 50.

2. For radial thin wall tile

① The alloy layer of bearing bush shall be firmly and closely combined with the shell, and there shall be no delamination and shelling. The surface of the alloy layer and the split between the two half tiles shall be smooth and flat without defects such as cracks, pores, double skin, slag inclusion and bumps.

② The pad back and the inner hole surface of the bearing seat shall be closely and evenly fitted, and the coloring method shall be used for inspection. If the inner diameter is less than 180mm, the contact area shall not be less than 85; if the inner diameter is greater than or equal to 180mm, the contact area shall not be less than 70.

③ The fit clearance and contact condition between the bearing bush and the journal are guaranteed by machining accuracy, and the contact area is generally not allowed to be scraped. If the contact along the axial direction is uneven, it can be slightly trimmed.

④ After assembly, check with a 0.02mm feeler gauge at the split. It is qualified if it cannot be inserted.

3. For thrust bearings

① The bearing bush shall be free of wear, deformation, crack, scratch, delamination, rolling and burn defects; The marks at the contact with the thrust disc shall be uniform, the contact area shall not be less than 70, and all tiles shall be evenly distributed on the whole circumference;

The thickness difference of the same group of pads shall not be greater than 0.01mm, and the Babbitt alloy of the pad shall be rounded into the oil wedge according to the rotation direction to facilitate the entry of lubricating oil; The back bearing surface is flat and smooth.

② The adjusting gasket shall be smooth, flat, without deflection, and a layer of gasket with thickness difference not greater than 0.01mm shall be used.

③ After the bearing cover is assembled, the thrust bearing clearance shall be measured repeatedly by the thrust shaft method, and the value shall be within the required range.

The thrust bearing clearance measured by this method must be consistent with that measured by the shaft displacement probe side, and the indicated zero position of the displacement probe shall be adjusted according to the regulations.

④ The horizontal joint surface of the bearing shell shall be tight without dislocation. The oil hole for oil temperature measurement shall be aligned with the pad cover eye without deflection. The oil hole is clean and unblocked.
